Ciù Ciù

Ciù Ciù wines re-discover natural herbs

Prestigious event at Four Seasons Milan Hotel with Fiammetta Fadda, Enzo Vizzari, Chiara Maci and a special menu prepared by the chef Vito Mollica

Ciù Ciù wines are organically produced since over twenty years in the 150 hectares vineyards. The land has gradually recreated a natural ecosystem and that was possible thanks to the will of the company, who wanted many herbs to return to live in a natural way. These are herbs that have always accompanied the birth and growth of grapes.

Crespigna, borage, purslane, nettles, dandelion, burnet, wild chicory are just some of the plants that grow in the Ciù Ciù vineyards and that have been chosen as the main theme of the exclusive event that was held at the Four Seasons Milan Hotel recently. Important journalists such as Fiammetta Fadda and Enzo Vizzari and the foodblogger Chiara Maci, along with Ciù Ciù owner Walter Bartolomei, spoke about the argument in front of a selected audience of journalists, gastronomic critics and bloggers. The evening was intended as a “Petit dîner dans le jardin” and the chef Vito Mollica studied a special menu, preparing dishes on his own with the wild herbs that grow in the Ciù Ciù vineyards.
