Recipe “Wort donuts

The cooked wine, its memories and its skilful preparation, inspire this sweet recipe of donuts with must to which we can only combine Dolce Malvasia sparkling wine by Ciù Ciù Tenimenti Bartolomei



  • 160 gr wort
  • 75 gr brewer’s yeast
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 gr seed oil
  • 350 gr Manitoba flour
  • 350 gr 00 flour
  • water qs



Warm the must and dissolve the yeast in it. Break eggs and whisk with sugar, seed oil, yeast combined with must. Then add the flours sifted together a little at a time. Work with your hands until the dough is smooth and elastic. Place in a bowl and cut the dough into a cross. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rise in a warm room until doubled in volume. Then knead again for a few minutes. Prepare a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, form doughnuts and place them on the baking sheet. Let stand for 30 minutes. Bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes in a static oven. When the doughnuts are removed from the oven, brush with water and sprinkle with sugar.
