Ingredients:
- 130 g of sugar
- 250 g of Manitoba flour
- 250 g of 00 flour
- 170 g of milk
- 2 eggs
- 25 g of fresh yeast
- 90 g of sunflower oil
- 75 g of candied fruit
- shredded skin of orange
- shredded skin of lemon
Ingredients for the icing:
- 100 g of powder sugar
- 2 spoons of boiling water
- lemon juice
Procedure:
Mix the two flowers and take 200 g out of the whole. Melt this part with 170 g of warm milk and 25 g of yeast. Let it rest for half an hour.
Add eggs one at a time, add sugar and the remaining flour with oil. Add the fruits’ shredded skins, a pinch of salt and mix Well to make a bowl. Let it rest until its volume has doubled (roughly 1 hour). Put the dough on a table, open a small hole and add the candied fruits. Close it and work it with your hands to create a new bowl. Put the dough in a narrow and tall mould and let it rest until its volume has doubled. Cook it at 170°C for 45 minutes.
Once the pizza is cooked, let it cool down and prepare your icing. Use 2 spoons of boiling water and slowly add 100 g of powder sugar. Mix well and add two drops of lemon juice. Paint your pizza with your icing and let it cool down.
