Eight-day bread
A new recipe that recovers the ancient eight-day bread ritual that should never be wasted. A recipe that we prepare with a 100% Italian organic extra virgin olive oil, Ciù Ciù.
Ingredients:
- 12gr yeast
- 300gr water at room temperature
- 250gr type “1” flour
- 250gr type “0” flour
- 50gr manitoba flour
- 10gr salt
Preparation:
Dissolve yeast in water, add salt to flours, knead and let rise in warm room until doubled in volume. Knead the dough, make the classic folds. Give the desired shape and let rise at least 45 minutes. Bake in preheated oven 220° for first 10 minutes, lower temperature to 19° for 30 minutes.
